| Basic Electronic Circuit Lab 1 | The basic laws and principles of circuit theory, which are the basic course in exploring electronic engineering, are understood through experiments and practices. The main contents of experiment include the DC/AC experiment by using the elements such as resistance, capacitors and inductors, and also the rectifier circuit is experimented, in which diodes are used. |
| Digital Engineering | The students are taught the number system, binary arithmetic operation, coding, logic theory, all sorts of combinational logic circuit, logic theory of flip-flop order, memory unit, input-output unit, D/A Converter and A/D Converter, digital system, and the structure of micro processor. |
| Electro Physics 1 | In this subject, the students are dealing with all sorts of elements such as electron movement in a vacuum, electric discharge in gases, electrons in solid state substances, electron emission, vacuum tube, photo tube, discharge tube, semiconductor and PN junction, transistor, and integrated circuit. |
| Electromagnetics 1 | The students are taught various basic phenomena of electricity and magnetism, such as vector analysis, electric and magnetic field in a vacuum, boundary condition, electromagnetic induction, and the Maxwell's equations. |
| Circuit Theory 1 | In this subject, the students will grasp the relations between voltage and current, basic principle of circuit, closed circuit and moment equation, Laplace Transform and circuit equation, transient phenomena, impulse response, and the RLC filter theory. |
| Basic Electronic circuit Lab 2 | In this subject, the experiments related to basic logic gates are carried out by using the knowledge about the logic theory, integrated and sequential logic that were taught in the digital logic circuit. And also, the students will be encouraged to understand the performance characteristic of the logic circuit through experiments on Mux/Demux, adder, decoder, counter and register by using the basic logic gates. |

| Electromagnetics 2 | The students are taught various basic phenomena of electricity and magnetism. They will be taught the vector analysis, electric and magnetic field in a vacuum, electric and magnetic field in a medium, boundary condition, electromagnetic induction, and the Maxwell's equations. |
| Circuit Theory 2 | This subject covers the voltage and current, basic principle of circuit, closed circuit and moment equation, Laplace Transform and circuit equation, transient phenomena, impulse response, and the RLC filter theory. |
| Signals and Systems | In this subject the continuous signal, discrete signal and the system will be defined. And then the features of the system will be analyzed by using a differential equation or difference equation. And the lecture on the Laplace and Z-transform will be delivered in order to analyze the system, along with the lecture on the Fourier series and Fourier transform related to the discrete signal and continuous signal. |
| Computer Architecture | In this subject, the students will learn about the structure of computer hardware and be engaged in software design. And the lecture on the structure of arithmetic unit and control unit, memory management, input-output control system, and the lecture about design of basic system program will be given to the students. |
| Microelectronic Circuits Lab. 1 | In this subject, the basic experiment and measuring instruments related to the structure and design of analog and digital circuit will be introduced. And the students will learn how to use and manipulate the cutting-edge electronic equipment. |
| Microelectronic Circuits 1 | In this subject, the introduction of diode and transistor circuit, MOSFET, bias stability, small-signal analysis, power amplifier, feedback and oscillator, operating amplifier theory and application, applied circuit of operating amplifier, and the design of passive and active pass filter will be dealt with. |
| Communication Theory 1 | This subject deals with the basic communication theories, including the analysis of signals, linear systems, spectrums and random processes. And the lecture consists of the analyses on theories and systems of actual communication methods such as AM, FM and PM, including the theoretical analysis and applicable methods for the PCM, multiplex and data communication system. |
| Semiconductor Engineering | In this subject, the students are encouraged to understand the basic properties and features of semiconductors, and then they learn about the manufacturing process and performance characteristic of the diodes and transistors, which are the elements of semiconductor, so that they may find actually applicable fields. |
| Microwave Engineering | In this subject, the students may understand the characteristics of electromagnetic wave through application of the basic theories of electromagnetics, so that they may deal with the interpretive method for the various structures of transmission line and wave propagation, including other basic problems. And also, the students need to understand the functions of elements and circuits used in the super high frequency range, so that they may deal with the interpretive method for such circuitries. In addition, they learn the interpretive method and measurement theories related to the signals in the frequency range. |
| Microelectronic Circuits Lab. 2 | In this subject, the basic experiment and measuring instruments related to the structure and design of analog and digital circuit will be introduced. And the students will cultivate practical skills to use and manipulate the cutting-edge electronic equipment. |

| Writing for Engineering Topics | In this subject, the students will learn how to write essays in which they correctly express their own ideas about electronic engineering. After scrutinizing all situations during the progress of project, the students will submit the planning report, interim report and final results report, and then they do a presentation after preparing the material. The professor will provide a discussion method. |
| Design of Microwave Circuits | The purpose of this subject is to grasp the methods and kinds that may be used in transmitting the electromagnetic wave through transmission lines, or radiating the electromagnetic wave, which was generated, amplified and converted to be used for transmission and reception, so that impedance matching related to the design or the microwave power of super frequency bandwidth may be applied to industries. The students need to understand all sorts of parts, circuit and system, and the instructor will deliver lectures focused on the direction of R&D and CAD design methods to improve them. |
| Capstone Design 1 | Before graduation, the senior students of the undergraduate courses shall be evaluated if they are qualified as an engineer. Especially, they are encouraged to solve the actual problems according to the design process, based on the meaning of engineering design and the knowledge related to the approach, which they have previously obtained. |
| Data Communications | The lectures on this subject deal with the basic concepts of data communication, data communication system, and the communication channel. |
| Semiconductor Fabrication and Applications | The students will learn the unit process technology of semiconductor device and integrated circuit in details, including the process technologies and packaging technologies with which the semiconductor devices and integrated circuits are produced through application of the unit process technology. And also, they will cultivate practical capability by practicing design, fabrication and experimenting through team projects, after examining various sensors and actuators, including exploration of various applicable fields. |
| Seminar for Electronic Engineering | And working-level staff and well-known people from engineering society will be invited to our lecture rooms or laboratories, so that our students may understand the mainstream of electronic engineering and have indirect experience of practical works they will face after graduation. |
| Photonic Engineering | This subject is aimed at letting the students understand the basic properties of light waves as electromagnetic wave and the interaction between the light and electrons, including the operating mechanism and properties of optoelectronic devices, such as the filter, modulator and switch. |
| Speech and Audio Signal Processing | In this subject, the students will learn various analysis theories speech and audio signals, including the recognition, compression and synthesis methods for speech and audio signals, to which the theories are applied. The lectures consist of the theories such as time and frequency domain analysis of signals, sound generation model, linear prediction and LPC, cepstrum, speech feature extraction, pitch, formant frequency, quantization and HMM. |
| Image Signal Processing | The lectures deal with the basic theories about the signals and system of 2-d analog and digital, including the sampling and scanning principles. And also, the basic matters related to digital image processing, such as image improvement, image compression, recovery, regeneration, are included in the lectures. |
| Embedded Systems | The embedded system is designed to carry out the specific purpose as the hardware and software are combined together. The students need to learn the structure of ARM-based hardware in order to development of the system, including the development process of software. |
| Optical Communication System | The students will learn the characteristics of dispersion and loss in optical fibers, and the principles and properties of luminous element, photodetector, photonic network elements, which are essential in optical communications. And also, they lean about the system of optical modulation and optical network unit, so that they may cultivate the ability to design optical broadband communication systems. |
| RF System | Recently, the development tendency of RF fields is focused on the realization of system on a chip. The students are encouraged to understand the concepts of microwave integrated circuit(RFIC), which is the core technology of electronic information communication, after understanding the basic theories of RF system. And then they will learn the production process of RF system on a chip based on the understanding of microwave devices, process and circuits. |

| Communication Network | The Internet network has been quickly reorganized on the basis of Ethernet technologies. The Ethernet-based communication network has become an important study assignment that will be used as a basic infra in the high-speed Internet information society to come, due to the high compatibility and convenience. In this subject, the systematic studies on the Ethernet-based communication network are carried out, including other communication networks based on the similar technologies. The lecture consists of the introduction of characteristics related to the various structures of LAN, Ethernet connection methods, switching and routing, and also the professor will deliver the lectures focused on various methods to build up communication networks by using such methods. In addition, the students who are accustomed to electronic engineering will be able to understand the communication networks easily due to the simple design exercises and simulations included in the lecture. |
| Digital Broadcasting Engineering | This subject is aimed at learning the theories and systems that carry out effective broadcasting of various information in digital forms through transmission media such as ground waves, satellite waves, cables and the Internet. Accordingly, the students will be taught the overall structures and functions of digital broadcasting system, and then the professor will deliver lectures about analog-to-digital conversion and compaction technique of broadcasting information including audio an video, including the theories and implementation methods of broadcasting digital information. And also, the lecture consists of the flat-panel display technology and HDTV as the terminal technology for digital broadcasting, including the introduction of commercial broadcasting systems such as ground wave digital broadcasting, satellite digital broadcasting, cable broadcasting, the Internet broadcasting, which is focused on the characteristics and core technologies of each system. In addition, the lecture will include the system and technologies of 3-d broadcasting and interactive broadcasting, which are regarded as the next generation broadcasting technology. |
| Digital Signal Processing Lab | The students will learn about the H/W design and programming related to the Texas Instrument TMS320C31 DSP Chip, which is broadly used in the industries for control of communication and media. And also, they will cultivate the ability to use the DSP Chip completely in the industrial fields based on the development of applicable products through practices of manufacturing and programming of the DSP boards. |
| RFIC Design Lab. | The students will understand the relationship between the action of RFIC and physical elements by designing the RFIC in the lab. As a result, they will acquire the basic, pragmatic and design knowledge for the RFIC. |
| Ubiquitous Communications Systems | This subject is focused on the core contents of the systems that form the backbone of the Ubiquitous communication system, such as the mobile communication system and wireless sensor network. |
