Haedong ITS Center - Industrial-Academic Cooperation-based Research Center(Daedeok Electronics)

Purpose of Establishment

This center was established in order to train high-level professionals and provide educational programs for high-speed PCB. Recently, overall complexity of digital systems has increases along with the high-speed and high-density of digital systems. Accordingly, the problems related to electromagnetic interference and signal integrity have come to the fore in designing of high-speed digital systems. The researches of this center will contribute to the development of information communication and electronics industry, as well as the development of high technologies related to high-speed PCB design.

Research Goals

1. Research and development of technologies related to the next generation super-small Ubiquitous systems.

2. Development of SOP and SIP-based technologies

  • -Portable Health Check system
  • -Portable Broadcasting/Communication Convergence terminals(DMB)
  • -Portable IP-Phone
  • -Ubiquitous systems
  • -Digital Convergence systems

3. Development of next generation systems focused on miniaturization, low price and multi functions.

  • -The core strategic technologies are related to PCB, flexible PCB Based SIP and SOP.
